Usui Reiki Certification Course: Levels 1 & 2

If you're like me, you've been introduced to the beautiful holistic healing technique called "Reiki" through friends or associates. Or maybe you've heard of it via social media. Or perhaps you overheard someone somewhere and you got curious and looked it up online. Reiki is a form of healing that works on your mind, body and spirit. It helps and stimulates you to tap into your own natural healing abilities. I was introduced to reiki in a few ways. But let me backup a bit and tell you how I got to this point in my journey.

When I began my spiritual journey to "find myself" 7 years ago, I felt so alone. I didn't know what was going on, where I was going and how I was going to get there. I just knew that it was time for me to do something. See, I became a mother at a young age. 20 years old to be exact. And the year my son graduated from high school, I was stuck with the question, "what do I do now?". I mean, I had been his mother for 18 years, I'm still his mother but everything was different. I didn't have to "mother" him any more. At least not in the ways to which I was accustomed. Suddenly I had free time and people saying, well you're an empty nester now, time to live your life. Only problem was, I didn't know what that meant. What that would look like or feel like. I didn't have a clue as to what I wanted to do, can do, should do. And worse, I didn't know me!

My whole identity as far as my adult life had been concerned was all about my son. Every step I took, I always considered him. I neglected my life to make sure that we could live. So I begin to take steps toward finding me. Wasn't easy. Not at all. In fact, parts of it were downright painful. I took the spiritual route because I knew that in order for me to do this journey right, God had to be part of it. But wait, I didn't really know God that well either. Other than what was preached to me. My journey began. I started my blog to document my journey. Had no idea that starting that blog would be the start to other awesome, magickal things to happen in my life. As more pieces to the great puzzle that was now my life were starting to be revealed to me, I prayed for guidance. Because I knew that I could no longer try to do this journey alone. I needed support, accountability, organization/structure, and this came in the form of a beautiful Goddess named Abiola Abrams! Through her program I received all of this and more. But there was still something missing in my journey.

The first time I had ever heard the word "reiki" was through my spiritual business coach. She was talking about a session she had with her sister, who is a reiki practitioner, and how it made her feel. How she felt connected with her higher self and her Higher Power. I was in awe of her testimony!

The next thing I knew, one of my friends reached out to me and asked if she could give me an energy healing session for a class she was taking. When I got that healing session from my friend, I knew that I had to know more about this practice. I did my research, found an instructor, enrolled, and the rest is history or her-story.

Why This Course?

In this day and time of constant distractions, so much information coming at you all day, everyday it's easy to get side tracked from your objectives/goals of deepening your relationship w/ God/Spirit and your ancestors. This course will not only teach you this beautiful energy healing practice and art of reiki but you’ll also learn how to use it to deepen your relationship with yourself, God/Goddess/Spirit, your spirit guides/angels, and your ancestors! When I first learned reiki, the course I took was a DIY (Do it Yourself) course. Now don't get me wrong i absolutely adore my teacher. She was great. Her materials, demonstration videos, everything was great. My problem was, I would have liked a little more support from her, to know her and she really know me. And with this course, even though it's self paced, you get access to my FB group where you can post about your experiences, ah-ha's, celebratory moments and you will be supported by other women in the group and me!

My sensei was was wonderful. Every energy healing course that I've taken have been from her because I do like her teaching style but for me, there is nothing like that personal touch when your instructor knows you. When you're able to build relationships with the other people in your course, others who have taken the course and gotten their certification, and your instructor. So this course is for those who want a personal touch. For those who are ready to be part of a community of others just like them.
